I've been waiting for 1.6.1 since 1.6.0 got launched and it has been a very long time ...

It hasn't launched because it's not ready. Just hold on! It's coming.

For Java SDK,

Request you to please look into the issue no 6148.

If possible pls resolve it for 1.6.1 release.

Deepak,

If you need 60 seconds you are doing something wrong.

GAE isn’t optimized for anything taking anywhere near that long. It will bring you much pain in the wallet to have a dependency on things taking this long.
