We have a client we set up Google App engine for to run a 3rd party app called Floreysoft Shared Groups.

Their app was not working so they called us for support.  We noticed a 500 error appearing at the top of the screen which I suspected was due to billing not being enabled.  So I enabled billing and set the app with the 3rd party's recommended settings before doing so and default $2 per day budget.

I noticed at that point that the Recipients Emailed quota had hit the daily limit and was ranging in the 2.5 billion mark and the cost for that was now showing as somewhere around $246,000.  Fortunately the budget was set to $2 per day from yesterday but obviously this is still causing them some concern.

This is a small app with just 4 users which shares 200 contacts between those users in Google Apps.

Any help to resolve this would be appreciated.  Expect we need to purge that email queue but no idea how to do that.

Hi Scott,

What is the app-id?

Thanks,
Christina
