Tokens expire in two hours. If a client remains connected to a channel for longer than two hours, the socket’s onerror() and onclose() callbacks are called. At this point the client can make an XHR request to the application to request a new token.
When a token expires and the client needs to request a new one, can it use the same clientid that it used for the expired token?  Or must it use a new clientid?

If I remember correctly, you can use the same one. I know two hours
is a long time to wait, but I'd suggest you try it to know for sure.
