Backends fell over?

Last night 7/28 at 1:45 AM PST and now at 7/28 8:20 PM PST, my backend instance fell over and regardless of pushing the Stop and Start button, I cannot get it to restart. I even try deleting and deploying a new instance to no avail. Is there any sort of status on Backends going down? Is there anything I can do?
