1) how do i open up 'more' to read answers? hitting word does nothing. 2)how can i send something to multiple people without them seeing emails or names or others?

1) how can i get full answers by ' more'. hitting the word does nothing.
2) how can i send an email to a number of persons, but not have the recipients able to see names or addresses of all?

Try deleting cache and cookies... it should work that way.

For your number 2, search this group for how to use BCC, it's been posted many times.

Here's a hint at the fact that i'm old, but a rookie. how do i delecte cache and cookies?

Being old is nothing to be ashamed of, it took you a long time to get that way :)

If you click the gear icon at the top right of GMail, just under your name, there's a Help link.  Searching Help for "Cache and Cookies" yields this page as your first match:

It has links for all the most popular browsers (program you use to access the internet), so hopefully you should be able to follow along from there.  The GMail help pages make a great effort to be actually helpful.  I think they hit the mark most of the time.
