Unable to use zip/tar feature

Hi All,

Gitlist works brilliantly after all the configuration issues. Thanks for the responses from this group, it has greatly helped.

We are just not able to use one feature. The zip/tar. It works fine on the QA server but not on our PROD server. No idea what the difference is. I get the following error

No webpage was found for the web address:http://git.tools.weightwatchers.com:8081/gitlist/Tracker_iOS_github/tarball/2.0.25
Error 6 (net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND): The file or directory could not be found.

We do have one difference. To keep some repositories private, on PROD we have the repositories path in gitlist pointing to a folder that contains symlinks to the actual repository folder. There is no other difference. I don't know if this is related in anyway

Any ideas?

Hi,

What is you version on of git ? The command "git archive" must be available.
