How to get Zip / Postal Code in Range

Hi Guys ,

I am having a problem. I hope you will be able to help me, to get a nice solution.

I want to fetch the zip codes in a range say 40 Km with in a zipcode of Madrid.

I was trying to use

Zipcode calculator

But we are not having zipcodes in the geonames table . And I didnot see anything related to it :( .

But when looking through http://www.geonames.org/maps/google_40.417_-3.703.html , I was seeing there are a list of cities and distance here. Wondering how its achieved . Is it using google API or something in geonames API itself .
