gecko-mediaplayer should be able to handle playlists, but there seems
to be a problem with them right now that I have been working on. It
takes a lot of time to debug, time that I have been unable to get
right now.
Probably the best way to do this right now is with javascript.
Load your first file and then when that file is complete, load the
next file using javascript methods. As for overlays, those are not
supported at this time. The windowless version of the plugin does not
work due to the lag in moving the video content from mplayer to
firefox. So for this reason the plugin is windowed and cannot
supported overlays.
