DevFest Trichy

Hey all

We had an amazing DevFest here at NIT Trichy yesterday! I feel proud to say that DevFest Trichy was a success and the turnout was wonderful. This being our first big event and the first DevFest, we had put it in a lot of efforts and we now feel satisfied that we didn't disappoint our participants. Except some minor technical issues with Hangouts, the event went smooth. Participants were also satisfied with the food/swags we arranged for them.

The talks by Shannon Behrens and Ido Green were really good and our developer community did find it informative. Abhishek Shrivastava's interactive session on developing hacks and apps using Google Chrome APIs was a hit specially the " How-to-develop-a-Chrome-app-in-30-secs! ".

Participation from different institutes such as BharatiDasan University and Anna University Trichy also boosted our enthusiasm. We briefed them about GDG and about starting a chapter in their institutes/regions. They assured us more participation and involvement in our future events and considering starting a GDG chapter in their institute.

Thanks a lot to Uttam and Bhumika for helping us over the past few days. Without your support the event might not have gone as smoooth as it did. GDG NIT Trichy looks forward to more such events in future. :)
