I'm sorry, but I not develop for Chrome - only for Firefox

but I can tell you how to fix errors 

Please share familiar to people who can fix Firecastfox for Chrome:

Critical bugs and solutions:

• fixed receiving weather is not for English locale

I do not know how to program for Chrome.
Although I have made the necessary changes to health Forecastfox, but there were small mistakes that I can not resolve.

I just installed this in Chrome 64 bit on my Windows 7 64 bit Enterprise version. It showed the default New York, NY, but it won't add or search for any other cities I enter. Is this something you can fix?

in chrome the fcf options are very few related to firefox..
is it right or am i not so skill to have it work at its best like in firefox..?
in firefox there are the options to:
1) visualize the name of the city in the toolbar..
2)the possibility of choosing lots of icons..
3)the status bar where we have lots of choices..about meteo-alerts..days and nights..actual conditions..
   how many days of forecasts..and so on..

they are not allowed in chrome..??

Thank you very much! I just installed the fix version. 

There seems to be some issues. Today here is Wednesday and I think it thinks it's a Monday now. Also the Now temperature is not matching the temperature in the icon.

For some reason I am not able to install this extension. It says manifest is unable to be read. I am just simply dragging it onto the extensions page but it says it cannot load. Do I have to uninstall the previous forecastfox extension I have on?

Yes, as i've said in my posts  THE DATE is present..but..not THE HOUR...
i mean that in yr firefox fix is also present -the hour- of the update..
but, as you have rightly attached in yr image, in yr chrome fix vers there is only the date
without the hour, but the hour is very meaningful for be sure that the add on is working fine..
so my ask is if you will be so kind to add -the hour- also in yr chrome fix vers as you have
preciously done for yr firefox fix

I installed the latest update and it wont let me add any cities. 

When I try by zipcode or by city, st it says "An error has occurred while looking up your location on Google Maps. Please try again."

I can only see the default New York, NY :(

Found a work around. Edited the locations.js file in Content, and replace the default New York, NY and cityid: with my city and it loads it now.

I only care about my city, so it's all good for now, but this info might be helpful for other OSX users. I had to edit the file with VI and then reload the plugin from scratch to get it to stick. Simply reloading chrome, etc didnt work after i made changes. TextEdit also didnt work on the file, had to use VI.

Just found this after abandoning ForecastFox for Chrome several weeks ago. Glad to see this effort, since the replacements I've tried aren't really what I want.  The weather data seems accurate for my location, but I notice that the 'details' and 'hourly' links in the "Now" weather screen (i.e. the default window) don't work and seem to go to these URLs respectively:

Oleksandr - thank you very much for your efforts on this fix version!  But the latest version has an error trying to search for a location (to change from the default of New York).  I captured the http calls using Fiddler and it's getting this error from google: "The Google Maps JavaScript API must be downloaded directly from Google's servers." which results in us seeing "An error has occurred while looking up your location on Google Maps. Please try again."

This happens on Mac and Windows.

For anyone else trying to solve this, as Philip said above, you can edit the location.js file (in the content folder).  Search for "New York" and you will see a block of code like this: {name:"New York, NY",code:"cityId:349727"} .  Change that to reflect your location.  You can find the cityId value by going to http://www.accuweather.com/ and searching for your city.  Once found, the cityID will be at the end of the URL in your browser.  You will need to re-add the extension after making that change and it should then default to your location.

Interesting -- I'm now seeing the same thing on my Mac, whereas it worked as expected on my Win7 machine at work. Editing the file as John described worked on my Mac; no idea why I didn't need to do this on my Windows computer.

Settings where already set ton French. Furthermore, forcasts for "Now" (Maintenant) are in French but starting from "Today" (Aujourd'hui) and for the rest of the week they are in English. :-(

In Firefox the doppler image is 640 x 480, I prefer it even bigger but it is much better than the small graphic used in chrome. Also in Chrome it's not as easy to look at. Here are screenshots to see what I am talking about.

Belgium - Nassogne - French. Tried with another city but forecast stay the same. When I try to select the other city, the little wheel turns, turns but nothing changes.

Hi Oleksandr,

There seems to be a problem, as well for Firefox as for Chrome. Forecastfox for FF gives me an error when selecting a town in my country (Belgium) but works with towns in France and Chrome displays old forecasts.

Don't know if the problem comes from Forecastfox or from Accuweather but it's very annoying.

Any idea ?
