Hello everyone,

I wanted to give you a heads up that I have submitted Field3D for inclusion in Fedora.

My intention is to use it as an optional OpenImageIO dependency.

Thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard,

That's very cool - thanks for getting that set up!
I'm going to test out the CMake changes later this week and merge your pull request. Do you need anything else from our side after that?

As usual I jumped the gun on the pull request. I still have a couple
of things to add. I'll try to clearly explain why I require the
change. I'm basically taking a minimal route so some things may need
to be generalized better if it will break building on other systems.

Thanks,
Richard

Ack! Ignore this... I've got too many irons in the fire. That was for
OpenColorIO which I'm also working on :)

Thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard,

I assume you meant to disregard the email, but not the pull request?
Also, I wanted to ask you - do you prefer that we pull the changes into the current v1.2 and create a new release tag, or should it be brought into the new v1.3 branch only?

Thanks again for your contribution!

Magnus

Yes! Sorry, I was a bit distracted at the time. I should have been more clear.

I'm not picky either way. Since no one has picked up the review yet I
can change it. The preference is to submit releases instead of
"snapshots". Is 1.3 close to release? If not then it would be best to
do a 1.2 update release.

Thanks,
Richard

v1.2.1 includes the changes, and v1.3 has been re-based to include them as well. Let me know if you have any issues - hopefully it's good to go!

Thanks,
Richard
