Hi Gangadhar,

Please elaborate what you are trying to do. Your description is too short.

Thanks,
Anand.

I have to give an user interface for tagging multiple stores(doctype) . User will select multiple stores and add one tag for all these stores. i have to prepare query report for profile having same tag as store that store data will be visible to that profile. I have to keep every single tag in separate table `tabTagDetail` with doctype name and tag values. How can I implement this.

Thanks.

Hi Gangadhar,

Instead of using tags, you should use a custom field. That way, users can use data import tool and upload the value of that field in one go.

From what I understand, you are trying to restrict users to particular sets of stores? You can create a custom link field like "Assigned to Profile" and use permission manager to restrict records to that profile.

Thanks,
Anand.
