I found that in any tree view in the system while user have no access to the tree he can add new child - I don't know what to do to prevent Accounts User from adding child to chart of accounts ?

Dear Hisham,

The master on top of which Chart of Account is generated is "Account" which is actually a master of accounting ledgers. You can uncheck create permission for document "Account" from permission manager.

Hope this helps.

Dear Umair;

This doesn't work, it still accepts to add new child. I discovered this happened also in any treeview like Item groups Territory, ...

HF -- seems like we have not coded the permissions in the chart - thanks for notifying, we will fix the bug and update.

Hi HF,

We have implemented permission checking for tree views.

Please pull the latest changes.

Thanks,
Anand.
