overriding default value of Role doctype in Profile

Hello All,

   In old version We have roles table in profile doctype  means seperate chield Role table to add key and values. In current version We have common table Role for key and value. I have created new role as regional Manager which maps region like East, North, South, West etc. I have added key as region and default value as rgn, when i try to override the region value in profile , I could not found region in select list of select property.  I have added region in employee,profile doctype.

Go to Setup > User Properties to set default values.

The property must be a "Link" type field.
