I need to create my own report based on a query ... how?

I have a query which I need to make a report based on it ... how can I do that in ERPNext ?

Hi HF,

We have this feature request in our list - it will also help us release reports much faster...

Right now, if you can install MySQL Administrator (a free tool) you will be able to do this.

Hi Rushabh;

I already have a better free utility called Heidisql , but I need the reports to be executed and shown in the ERPNext menu.

So it will be in your next release.

I have made something, I added the report in 'tabSearch Criteria' and put my sql statement in the Custom query field, the report appear in the menu but not accessible (Why ?)

We will try and incorporate in this version too (no promise)

There would be a doctype / parent_doctype column in Search Criteria - the report appears enabled / disabled based on that DocType's permissions
