A video made by Zoot Derks is now online of our 4th Do It Together Bio workshop. This time we tried to reproduce the BioCurious bioprinter, isolate V. fischeri, Allison Kudla presented her printer via Skype and two alternative bioprinters were presented live by Jelle Boomsma and Branislav Misovic.

The video is on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHHCtc89Epw
The resulting plates can be found here: http://www.meetup.com/Dutch-DIY-Bio/photos/14157242/

I don't understand, the plates seem to be from the vibrio isolation from seafood. Where is the bioprinted stuff?

Excellent! Looks like you guys had a blast. Could you post some closeups of your bioprinter?

interested in the 3d bioprinter,
what is the material that is used?
Solid at room temp, and liquid below?
Sounds amazing,
Cheers
