grapefruit juice affect on vitamin supplements

Hi,
Does anyone know if and how grapefruit juice affects vitamin
supplement absorption (similar to its affect on medications)? I read
some online discussions where it was said studies were done on this
but I'm not having any luck on google or scholar. I need better
keywords.

Grapefruit juice is a metabolic inducer of the cytochrome P450. try those as keywords.
It boosts metabolism and therefore may decrease bioaviability of vitamins. Thats just my suspicions so check it out definetly.

Thanks. But they're all medical drugs, not vitamins. I'm just looking
for general stuff; I don't really know much about this. I was just
wondering if there were ways to increase the effectiveness of
vitamins.
