Hi all,

I am interested in setting up a lab in CYPRUS.
Have studied synthetic bio in uni, but have very little practical experience and no access to affordable material and equipment.

Interested in the very classic experiments.
Glowing E-coli,
setting up a lac-operand switch
etc..

Any advice, would be much appreciated.

You should definitely do it!  However, you should also check local laws and regulations on gmos/bacteria.

As for material and equipment- we havent found the magical solution to that problem, yet.  But there are many things you can build or cheap things you can buy on ebay.
