Regards,

I have problems integrating a new stat in version 9. The output from the stat script is as follows:

pool1                5    1 0.00 0.00
bigpool2            4    1 0.00 6.11
pool3                7    1 0.00 0.17

pool1                5    1 0.00 0.00
bigpool2            4    1 0.53 6.03
pool3                7    1 0.08 0.17

I have specified a multiline stat, 5 columns, and specified the first column as varchar, and the next ones as integer, integer, float, float. Added the script path to the access file and restarted the STAT service on the client. The new table is being generated just fine (checked the mysql DB), but there are no data being collected into the table. I am running the script with a 60 second interval. What am I doing wrong ?

Hi Frank,

The first step to check is simply to see if when you're executing your script piped to "more" you can still see the output on the regular interval:

$ script.sh 10 | more

Should see new output every 10 sec.

That is, yes, the script does display output when piped through more. No data in the DB, though...

Hi Frank,

did you check this thread for troubleshooting: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/dimstat/R990HtEKqW8 ??

then, if there is no problems on communication between STAT-service and dim_STAT server, then there is probably something wrong elsewhere.. - may you send then your Add-On export description file and an output example of your Add-On script (please, send them both as files in attch. to be sure about used characters and maybe some other stuff)..

Rgds,
-Dimitri
