Yesterday a group of us were discussing having a Derby Makers Christmas Evening on Tuesday December 11th. We thought it would be good if we had a Christmas tree of some sort that we could decorate.

The first thing we need is the tree. Does anyone have an old artificial tree they no longer need or even a branch from a tree which could be decorated?

We thought that we could all make decorations either at home or at Derby Makers in previous weeks to hang on the tree. it would be good to have some with lights.

It would also be good on that evening if people brought food and drink to share to make it a bit of a party.

Amanda said she could show people how to make their own ivy door wreath, you would need to bring some ivy. Lucky for me my garden is full of it!

Some music would also be a nice idea.

I've just thought, it would be awesome if we could 3D-print some baubles to hang on the tree!
