Improve selection of patients / studies / series in dcm4chee-arc-light UI

I did some "hallway usability tests" in our hospital:

Most doctors find it more obvious to select stuff via the checkbox instead ctrl-clicking it.

(But they also say the new UI looks much cooler / modern :-)

Another issue on Mac: ctrl-click is by default mapped to a right-click.

That means every time I select an item the browser's context menu gets also displayed.

Could you add an explicit check-box as another method for selection, maybe as first item in an row?

I think this would improve the UX alot.

What do you (developers / users) think about this?

Hi Björn,

first of all thank you for your feedback!

We are about to migrate the UI to the angular 2, since angular 2 is a whole rewrite compared to angular 1, we have to reprogram some of the things, so I thing in angular 2 version of the UI we will try to improve the selection functionality of the UI (and maybe we can add check-boxes for selection :-)).
