CCC Meeting Notes from June 9th

Hi, everybody. No good excuse for taking this long to type up these notes. My apologies!
Meeting Date: June 9th
Location: Judy's lovely abode
Time: 10am-12pm
Present: Judy, Nala, Brian, Collin, Sharon, Aimee, Alana
We, once again, did a round of check-ins, and that proved to be enough for one meeting. People riffed off each others' ideas and supported each other with suggestions, offerings and resources.
Everything is confidential. If a member wants their info to spread like wildfire, they will let you know! These updates were lengthy, but I am keeping them very brief here. Add to your own if you like (all documents are editable), and come to our next meeting to not miss a thing!
**If your update seems sparse, it's because I'm keeping these brief, and because you specified, "Not ready to go public!"**

Aimee:
Planning upcoming supportive groups possibly in August. Stay tuned.
Sharon:
Interested in book discussion of Sacred Economics.
Feels a lot happening, not ready to name it yet.
Nala:
Feels moved to act on teachings and ideas in Sacred Economics/gift economy.
Started a blog called http://karmakollaborative.wordpress.com/ Would you all like to join?
Barn-raising birthday bonanza for her 40th birthday in July
Collin:
Been in Utah wilderness questing
Phenomenal experience mentoring here in PT. Watched a student he mentored give a fantastic HS graduation speech.
Will be gone until end of July
Judy:
Mentioned Tim Lawson from School of Woodworking as a potential member of CCC.
Collaborating with him on ideas about the Lifelong Learning initiative on Ft. Worden.
Interested in teaching about hoop houses.
Experiencing personal health issues. Focused on healing.
Alana:
Current workshops about mind/body connection are true to life. Dealing with injuries and having to listen to my body and slow down.
PT Dance Jam is going strong. Very elated to be holding the space.
Brian:
"I've been having a lot of fun."
Exploring ideas about summer camps/campfire stories.
Studying Judaism
Desire to bring "my culture, my lineage" to stories.

I have an A-I-R at a camp near Olympia from July 8-12!!!! Woohoo!
Great pay too!
As such, I will not be at the next meeting.

Hi All... I am curious now, who is able to come to the July 7th meeting... I think I have heard already that there are several who cannot make it - Nala, Collin, Brian,
Gloria, so can anyone who reads this indicate if you are IN or Not Available to meet July 7th from 10-12? Might be nice to know if we can make a quorum in advance.
