Hello, everybody,

I have a draft of the copy for the Coworking Marketplace, ready to be uploaded and linked, and then filled with glorious offerings, requests, exchange programs, and collaborations by coworking spaces, coworkers, et al.

Anybody who would like to serve on a kind of focus group to have a gander at the draft copy, let me know and I will share the document (it´s a Google doc, gmail address works best and is easiest).

Anybody who is interested in being amoung the first folks listed, let me know that, too. Preferably in this thread, I think, so it´s all in one place.

Hi, all,

I am about to add all of you that I haven't added, (in about an hour that is because first I have another appointment).  But I wanted to say this:

It's just the text for a series of pages on the wiki.  Later to be added after the upgrade to the Amazingness That is The Wiki.  

So there isn't really any information of anything, just a framework where we can fill in names and offers and so forth.

I say this because while I have added a bunch of people, I have not had any feedback.  This means it is either Totally Awesome or it Really Sucks, I think.  Or maybe it means that people don't know what to do.

If you could leave comments by making comments in the document itself on Google Docs (easiest) or by sending me an email, that would be great.

What you did by adding comments was fine, super.  It's going to go up pretty soon so I figured I would throw it out there and see who had input.

I am pretty much open to anything, from correcting my spelling to ideas about restructuring.  It's a community resource, even if I am going to moderate it, so I want to know what the community thinks.

It's not going to win any awards; I just need it to be clear.

This is just text:  bolded text which you see repeated as a header is supposed to indicate a link.  Doing it in any more complicated (attractive) way just means I will have to strip it out again to put it on the wiki, that's why I did it like that.

I was so happy to see your Twitter profile, my profiles all say "Atlanta, GA and Oosterhout, NB " so I am always pleased to see another person with Multiple Location Disorder.  :-)

The reason not to put it up on this list is simply that doing it as I have already makes a hash of my formatting; posting it here aould make it worse.  And I would never, ever be able to keep track of the comments if they were threaded as they are here.

I will contact you again when the page is about to go live; I am considering filling in some of the initial listings myself before I go live on the wiki.  If I do that, I will certainly throw it open here first.

So watch this space, as they say.  :-)

Okay, I think everybody's in.  

Anybody not in, I don't have your email.  You can send it to me at Jean...@Kamer52.nl.  I have a specific question for everybody in a not-native-English speaking country and it is this:  if you have a genius brainwave about a translation widget, or something similar, let me know.  I tried to put in the Google Translate button but I can't get it to work on PB Works.  This may be my own incompetence, if so I am all ears if you knwo how to do it.

I realize that English is the current language of the Wiki, and if you want to market other than locally we will just have to stick with it.  But I would liek to localize as much as possible as well.

At this moment as you see the structure is pretty close to wide open.  I am open to dividing the listings by country or region but...at the beginning I think I want to keep it as open as possible and see how it develops.  That's my feeling anyway.

Contrary thoughts always welcome.
