Hi guys,

I just ran into a strange problem. When connecting to the server from my development machine via node.js / libcouchbase, everything works fine. When I run the code on the server, I get a 'Network Error' 16. I figured my firewall was blocking local access, so I fixed it, but it still doesn't work.

Any ideas? Any info on Error 16?

Thanks!

Hey Patrick,

Build libcouchbase from source out of github to resolve your issue.  There is currently an issue with the libcouchbase build on the apt/yum repo's when combined with couchnode.

Cheers, Brett

Thanks Brett!

What about this:

./config/autorun.sh: 10: ./config/autorun.sh: autoreconf: not found
patrick@ubuntu:~/libcouchbase$ apt-cache search autoreconf
autoconf2.13 - automatic configure script builder (obsolete version)

The "obsolete version" is bugging me a bit ...

Ok, there was another version of autoconf. But running into an error:

configure.ac:45: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_DISABLE_STATIC
