Instead of PTFE tubing you can just use kapton tape or Teflon tape either will do the job. Kapton tape is in stock at Altronics in Springvale and Teflon tape is common plumbers’ tape that you can get anywhere.

If in doubt with the plumbers tape you can just do the soldering iron test to make sure it will handle the heat.
