From reading on here and speaking to Nahshon I am aware that the Lutron GRX-CI-NWK-E may not be the best option for interfacing between CF and Lutron lighting. We have one and would like to get it working. at least with one way communication.

The problem I have found with the GRX-CI-NWK-E is the requirement to login before you do anything.

When I connect on Telnet I get a request to log-in which needs a three letter response (nwk -  as default). After that I can send any commands until the connection is lost.
 
Does anybody know of a way around this log-in issue?

Create a command such as "username\x0Dpassword\x0D" then set this command to be the "startup command" in system properties.

Sorry James slipped my mind . .

Just had a look at my system and you just need to create a command:
<cmd name="login">your_password\x0D</cmd>
Assign the "login" command as the the "startup command".

FYI your EOM field should be: \x0D\x0A
