It's not going to be integrated into our app, just a module anyone can use if they wish.

iTunes is not a simple thing to integrate with, nor is it ever going to be 100% reliable. Things can change in a flash with any iTunes update.

Hi Jarrod,

Is there any way to reverse engineer the itunes remote app.  At present I use CF to setup all my system (Amp on, ATV on and streaming from PC) and then just flick to the remote app and I can use everything. Volume can be changed via this app so although it is not a perfect solution, it does work

The protocol is already mainly figured out, and publicly documented -
its just clockwork to get everything to work together (its not just a
matter of sending some commands, there is a whole sequence of events
that need to take place).
