Color Cop in Windows 7

Let me first start by saying Color Cop is hands down the best color
picker I've ever used (and I've used a lot). I use it everyday as I'm
a Web Designer.

I recently upgraded my machine to Windows 7 and noticed that Color Cop
only grabs the color after you stop dragging the color dropper around.
Meaning, the value doesn't update until your cursor sits still for a
second or so. Is there something I can do on my end to fix this?

I have the same issue. I have not been able to find a work around. This tool defiantly works better on Windows XP.

Oh, well, now I remembered.
It was the mouse tail setup. When you enable trailing mouse tail to be visible,
the ColorCop dropper goes crazy, doing what you said.
Turn off (disenable) the trailing tail in the mouse cursor.

In Windows 7, the dropper seems to be behaving according to the mouse setup.
In my computer, Colorcop dropper work in normal fashion, picking up colors
while the mouse pointer moves around. It doesn't have to stop to get the color code.

Please change a few settings in your mouse pointer movement in your mouse program.
I don't remember now what setting it was, but after the change, it worked in the normal fashion.

Somewhere in this CC blog, there's a comment in which I explained it more in details.
It was a long time ago and I don't know how to find it.

It's not Windows 7. You will be able to get it fixed soon or later.
