Dear all

For those of you who are keen on yoga and pilates and are looking for English/mixed language classes, I can highly recommend the Asram Yoga Centre which has their studios in district 2 in Buda and district 13 in Pest. The Buda branch also offers child care on Mondays, Thursday and Fridays - a fantastic service for those of us held back from exercising because we have no-one to look after our little ones! Child care starts from 6 months of age but they have looked after my 4 month old daughter quite happily too. More info can be found on their website below or by contacting their super friendly receptionist, Ansci, on +3620-552-6564 or email rece...@jogakozpont.hu

Namaste!

It is a really fun place, but unfortunately they don't offer any prenatal classes in English :((.  Hungarian only.  But their mommy-baby sessions are great.

Dear all,

And then there is yoga in English for Mommies at the Pest location (yes this is a great yoga centre I think too!)
Babies will be present but this is for mommies, its not baby yoga.

I think its not updated fully on their website yet but getting there hopefully... There is a September special too. All details are on the website.

Dear Moms & Dads,

Do you know of a shop in Budapest that sells cloth diapers (or nappies as some of you might call them)?  My husband and I want to see what kinds of options there are before deciding whether we will go with disposable or cloth ones.

Thanks!
Dorit

mamamibolt.hu sells cloth diapers, they only have an online shop though.

Hi Dorit,

I also know an other online shop, see here: http://elj.hu/natur-es-biobolt/baba-mama/pelenka/moshato-nadragpelenkak

Or you can check some at Mária Bababolt, their website is www.bebibolt.hu, address is corner of Visegrádi u. and Balzac u. in district 13.

Good luck,
Barbi

I bought most of mine here. They are really cheap compared to big brands and still good quality especially the Papoose brands!

But I think they are also an online only shop.

Hi Dorit,

I used to have a children's clothes webshop and still have some washable nappies to sell.

I've used them in and off with my son who is now toilet training and I've been happy with them.

They don't have a brand and are 1500 each. I can send you some pics if you'd like.

All the best,
Natalie x

Hi Natalie, Hi All,

We bought cloth diapers from Natalie and I can confirm that we are very happy with them. We use them everyday and have been using them for over a year now and they are still in great condition. (By the way, we wash on 60 degrees, which I know is not recommended, but they are holding up great.) I did not try the big brands, but I suppose I won't since we are happy with this cheaper alternative. I definitely prefer the fleece material to the 100% cotton, which we found got too rough from hard water.

On that note, Natalie, I would like to buy more. I'll write a separate email to arrange.

Best,
Kristin
