fizzPOP presence at BCA Open Day!

Hi everyone,

BCA (our lovely new hosts) are having an open day for the public on Saturday 14th July, 11-4, you can see the blurb here:

The aim is to showcase "maker" activity in the Brum area, so, this is definitely a great opportunity to attract new people to fizzPOP.

I will certainly be there on the day and if anyone else wants to be on the fizzPOP stand it would be great if there were a few of us. Since BCA have a lot of their own maker activity going on, I think it's important that we show off the community aspect of fizzPOP, rather than just the technology. So... if you fancy joining me on the fizzPOP stand, please reply here and we'll work out what to take along. If you don't, please do drop in during the day if your're in the area and see what's going on.

Me and Becks should be able to visit, if you need help we could stay the day and even bring some gadgets. What kind of display are you thinking of putting on?

Hi Oli, it would be great to have you and Becks there! We'll probably
have a relatively small table, Andrew has donated one of his robots
for the day. So, I think any projects your working on would be good
(we want to show the "community" aspect of fizzPOP, not just the
technology :P) but preferably something that will fit on a table top.
If you're really keen to bring an electric car though maybe we can
talk to Jing about how much space will be available.

events for ages fizzPOP related sadly.
