Hello.  I have recently upgraded from BBB 0.7 to 0.80 on Ubuntu 10.04.  When running the demo files (specifically creating or joining a meeting), I get this error:

java.lang.NullPointerException
	at org.apache.jsp.demo1_jsp.getJoinURL(demo1_jsp.java:200)
	at org.apache.jsp.demo1_jsp._jspService(demo1_jsp.java:945)
at org.apache.jasper.runtime.HttpJspBase.service(HttpJspBase.java:70) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:717) at org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServletWrapper.service(JspServletWrapper.java:377) at org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.serviceJspFile(JspServlet.java:313) at org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.service(JspServlet.java:260) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:717) at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.internalDoFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:290) at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.doFilter(ApplicationFilterChain.java:206) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardWrapperValve.invoke(StandardWrapperValve.java:233) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContextValve.invoke(StandardContextValve.java:191) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardHostValve.invoke(StandardHostValve.java:127) at org.apache.catalina.valves.ErrorReportValve.invoke(ErrorReportValve.java:102) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardEngineValve.invoke(StandardEngineValve.java:109) at org.apache.catalina.connector.CoyoteAdapter.service(CoyoteAdapter.java:298) at org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Processor.process(Http11Processor.java:859) at org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol$Http11ConnectionHandler.process(Http11Protocol.java:588) at org.apache.tomcat.util.net.JIoEndpoint$Worker.run(JIoEndpoint.java:489) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:679)

The odd thing is, this only happens the first time.  If I reload the error page, the meeting proceeds as normal, and runs as normal.  If I exit the meeting and try again, the action proceeds with no error.  If I wait 10 or 15 minutes (I'm not sure what the exact interval is) I get the 500 error again.  I admit I may be doing something dumb, but I cannot see what.  The searches I've done on this mention 'bbb-conf --setip <server ip>' commands and such, and I have done that several times.  I have not found anything saying reloading the page allows the server to proceed without error.  Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

Hi J,

This is very strange.  Can you post the output of the following

  sudo bbb-conf --clean
  sudo bbb-conf --check

Regads,... Fred
