Yes you can. But see 2 and 3.

No. FreeSWITCH only because the controls to mute/unmute/eject users
from the voice conference works with
FS only. You can forward calls from Asterisk to FS so that FS will do
the voice conferencing.

At the moment, the record processing scripts assumes that the
directory where the voice recordings are local.
You can mount the remote directory into the local server.
