bbb-api.php Update

Good afternoon,

I've finally finished my implementation of bbb on my own servers, and
that includes a complete update to the php api to 0.8 beta-4. How do I
go about getting GIT access so I can push these updates up-stream?

Once you sign a contributor agreement (the above FAQ gives detailes why we have all the code contributed to BigBlueButton covered by a contributor agreement), you can send us a pull request.  One of the BigBlueButton committers will review it before committing/giving feedback.

Would you please let me know what did you do in git?

I check  https://github.com/bigbluebutton/bigbluebutton/tree/master/labs/bbb-api-php but it is 9 months old.

Is it any way that can i take it from you?

Hi Hamid,

We've had offers (such as from M) to update the PHP library, but we've not received a signed committers agreement, therefor we can't accept the code into BigBlueButton.

We focus on the .jsp library bbb_api.jsp as a reference implementation.  We may update the PHP equivalent in labs, but it's not a priority for us at the moment.

I'll print and sign it tomorrow, I found a bug in my implementation that I thought was due to API, but wasn't.

All I did was add the new functions, minus the preload slides method.
