Hi,
I am new to this group and just joined. I am considering installing BBB 0.8 on Linux Cent OS vs Google Open meetings and need your expert advice. Which one do you think will work better, with less issues? My requirements are simple- voice conf, video conf and desktop sharing. Thats all I need.

Please advice
Thanks
Vivek

Vivek,

For BBB you need to use ubuntu 10.04 LTS... Its developed and tested
on this platform... Getting it running on CENTOS is more work for you.

If your looking for simplier, i find BBB a less cluttered interface
and better supported and document project. vs openmeetings at apache
project when integrating to CMD/LMSs/ But with that being said they
both are good open source projects and can do the job ultimately so
its personal perference. Good news, its easy and "free" to install
and testdrive both, and online demos are available.

If this a commerical project, both have companies able to assist you.

Regards,
Stephen.
