Convert document null when upload file

Hi, I tried to upload file ` Gmail - Copy.pptx`(have attach file) and after upload then get errors :

Error: Failed to convert the office document.null

After get this errors, I tried to upload another file then get the same error.

How to fix this ?

I tried upload this file to http://demo.bigbluebutton.org/client/BigBlueButton.html then get the same errors. Now, in server  http://demo.bigbluebutton.org/ can not upload any file.

Hi Kim,

Thanks for reporting this, and, more importantly, you for providing a file that enables us to reproduce the problem.  We've opened a new issue to track work on this bug at

  http://code.google.com/p/bigbluebutton/issues/detail?id=1274

In the meantime, as your uploading a .pptx document, can you save it as .pdf, then upload.  It should display fine in BigBlueButton (let us know of the .pdf version of the document has any problems).

Hi Kim,

Got it.  We have the document attached to issue 1274.   We'll be looking at this as part of the 0.81 development effort.  If you star that issue, you'll get updates as we progress through figuring out why this document is causing problem for the conversion on the server to .pdf.

You can also try saving the file to .pdf in Office and try uploading the file again as a .pdf file.
