Is it possible to install BBB version 0.8 on RHEL 5.7(Redhat) ?

Dear BBB's developer team,

I'm doing my project and I need to install BBB on RHEL 5.7 server and I have followed the instruction for BBB installation on CentOS. But I haven't found any feasible link to download the RPM package. Can you please help me to list the components to install on RHEL? Thank you in advance.

Hi Jammy,

We did have RPM packages for BigBlueButton during the 0.64 release (which was over two years ago). Since that release, we focused our efforts on providing Ubuntu packages. For reasons why, see

We'll get back to providing RPM packages at some point, but there has been much greater pull to finish off the items on our road map to 1.0. See

As your mention that RPM packages for BBB during 0.64 release following this URL : "http://code.google.com/p/bigbluebutton/wiki/FAQ#CentOS" are existed. But some of URLs were changed so could you please list that new URLs of RPM packages? Thank you

We don't have any plans to update support for RPM packages for 0.81. We're getting a *lot* more interest to work on items on our road map
