Hello folks,

we preparing now a up-to 1000 user benchmark with some Ubuntu Desktop VM's as clients on a 16GB - 16 Core machine. In order to let BBB getting more attention from enterprise folks such a benchmark could be of great value to show what one can do with BBB. So i listened once here a while a go, that a script exists, to start dynamicly many browser tabs in order to connect to a central bbb server, receiving video and audio. Does anyone know about where to find it? If not we have to come up with something by ourself.

Take care,

Markus

Hi Markus,

We recommend using BigBlueButton in sessions of 25 users or less. In
BigBlueButton 0.8, your going to find that the audio takes up a fair
bit of the CPU. This was the quality vs. scalability decision we
made, which is documented here:

Also, the script to start up users was posted in our BigBlueButton Labs. See

We're getting close ... we're now working on fixing as many as the
obvious bugs fixed so we have a very productive beta.

Soon.
