If you're using beanstalkd in production and you'd be interested
in having your organization's logo displayed on the beanstalkd
web site, let's get in touch! If you prefer you can send mail
directly to me at k...@xph.us.

Aloha!

We're currently using beanstalkd for two of our sub-sites at MTB-News.de, the largest german speaking mountain bike online community.

Several millions of messages per day are processed by two beanstalkd daemons currently. We didn't have one single crash or other problems with beanstalkd since then.

Please find our logo here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rmqlvt8baz5c3hy/ibc_logo.png

Best regards

Marcus

We also use it, for queueing messages to send to cell phones via SMS. There are a few gateways geographicaly dispersed consuming messages and a central service queueing them. We have a service to answer phones on behalf of clients and send the messages to their cell phones, and the model is a very distributed one (everyone work from home). We intend to expand beanstalk's use soon, on other parts of the system.

I used in our product for about 1 year, but now i changed to redis, because now i use redis as session/cache/broker, do not want more process running.

In actually fact, beanstalkd is very powerful and very stable all these days.

Our product is an app on a open platform with 200k+ users and 30k+ active users everyday, they have a lot of tasks working at the back and handle about 500k+ tasks everyday.

We've been using beanstalk at YellowBot - http://www.yellowbot.com/ - for about 4 years and it's been working great. We do about 5-10 million jobs a day and it's generally been very much a "set and forget" service for us. We've used the binlog feature since the beginning (Graham Barr who works here made the first version of it).

That's fantastic. I'm sharing this info and your logo with the designer.
Thanks so much for volunteering!

Hey everyone, I think by now I've responded to everyone
who wrote back about this. Thanks so much for all the
enthusiasm. It's humbling to see the amazing things
everyone is doing out there.

(It's not too late if you still want to do this. Just let me know.)

I became aware of beanstalk at a previous job.

I have retro-fitted beanstalk now to the on-line Space Based game at http://lacunaexpanse.com and it has made considerable improvements in performance.

Thanks for such a great tool!

Hi Keith,

I'm using beanstalkd on http://npiece.com (a platform for professional artists) for doing all the image processing and video transcoding. The logo is here http://assets.npiece.com/img/logo.png.

Thanks,

Drupal.org might well be one of the largest sites based on Beanstalkd, I guess https://www.drupal.org/software

I've also used it for several years on various client sites, and am currently working on the Drupal 8 port of the Beanstalkd module.
