Hello everyone

I am new here to this group. I joined as I am looking for information
about a building at the foot of the High Street, Ayr. It is 26 High
Street, Ayr, and is now the site of Watt Brothers. Before that it was
occupied by What Everyone Wants. However I am interested in the
historical use of the building. I have heard reports that it was a
Fisherman's Mission, a church and a Masonic Hall.

Does anyone have any information about the building, or is anyone able
to point me in the direction of where I may be able to find out any
information.

Thanking you kindly.

Hi Jean - if you copy this into address bar then type Galston in search you will find a list of maps with dates of map on the right hand side. Click on any for the relevant date - on the box that says "ENLARGE MAP" - wait till map loads, then at bottom of map you will see an enlargement slider.... enjoy.

OOPS! Sorry - first email said Galston. Follow the same process entering Ayr in search.
