Dear fellow AEN members,
The Africa Evidence Network (AEN) is excited to be working with
seven leading global organisations to launch
World Evidence-Based Healthcare Day on 20 October 2020. This is a global initiative to create awareness of the need for better evidence to inform healthcare policy, practice and decision making
in order to improve health outcomes globally.
As an AEN partner/stakeholder/member we would like to invite your organisation to support the inaugural World EBHC Day.

|
|
|
There are a number of ways that you can do this, including:
-
Using the Social Media Toolkit (below) to promote awareness of World EBHC Day and/or your organisation’s work, achievements, mission/vision for EBHC
-
Host
an event (i.e. webinar/seminar/workshop/twitter chat) on 20 October, related to EBHC and register on the World EBHC Day website
-
Submit
an impact story, which is a 500- to 1000-word editorial piece that highlights how your work has led or contributed to impact in health research, policy, guidelines or patient outcomes.
Guidelines and examples are available on the website.

|
|
|
If you are interested in supporting World EBHC Day through one of the above activities, then we would also like to
formally acknowledge your support by displaying your organisation logo on the website homepage under the banner ‘supporters’ (however this is not mandatory).
Please let Dr Nasreen Jessani (njes...@uj.ac.za) know if you have any questions about the above, and if your organisation would like to support this initiative (and be recognised as a supporter on the website).
Kind regards,
AEN secretariat.
