Hi there,

Today suddenly one of my AppFog apps crashed and started logging the following psycopg2 error:

psycopg2.OperationalError: FATAL:  remaining connection slots are reserved for non-replication superuser connections

I haven't done any changes to the software in a while so there has to be something wrong in the platform. Do you guys have any ideas what is causing this error? I read somewhere that this could be related to caldegott somehow, but I have no idea how.

Cheers,
Janne

Hi Janne,

Do you have a caldecott app on your account from using the AF tunnel? We are investigating an issue that may be causing the caldecott app (if you used tunneling to your database and one was created) may hold onto some connections within a postgres db. Restarting or turning off the caldecott app and restarting your application app should release those connections from your database.

Please give that a shot and if you continue to have trouble please shoot us a note on support.appfog.com

Thank you!

Adam
