Hi, I have a Sony VAIO E Series laptop with Intel Core i3 1st Gen. I used the generic build of Froyo when I last tried x-86, but it would only work in landscape. Most of the apps never worked properly in landscape or so I thought at that time, but now I understand its because most Android apps use native libraries that x-86 doesn't support.
Well, I've not used my laptop for a year now, and I plan to install Android x-86 on it once I get back.
I need landscape support, I want to mainly use it to read eBooks on Kindle or Aldiko. So which is the best build suited for me?

So will Wi-Fi work out of the box? Because when I used it, it wouldn't work. Of course, I used it a long time ago* almost a year back.
And also, can I use in portrait mode with properly working mouse pointer?

Oh thanks! Are you running your x-86 on VBox? Try dual booting, maybe that will make the camera work.
You can try with asus_laptop.iso 3.2 or 4.0 ICS. I tried generic but it works not good. In portrait mode I have problem like u, I heard a tool can change about mouse direction/ or force in landscape mode, but now I am interesting about kernel linux to fix my camera. It hard but I can try :D, because my driver it only in full linux (like Ubuntu or Fedora ..) and depend on many parkages not have in android ics.
cheer :D.
