Questions about Winevine Support.

Hi ALL,

    I am an engineer in a chipset company, and we are planning to support Winevine Drm on our solutions, then what should we do? 

Are there some documents or web pages about this？

you should check existing support for DRM, specially sample plugin for Forward Lock implementation.(framework/drm part).

Also in AwesomeMediaPlayer.cpp you can find support for DRM. You should be able to put your plugin with existing support. But you need to explore code for stagefright(FileSource.cpp) and DRM(android_drm_magaer.cpp i think)

Have you contacted Widevine? That is probably a starting point to see if you can gain access to needed components and documents etc.

1 You need to get a license from google/widevine

2 You will get a doc and some source code from google/widevine

3 The source code you get will be built into a widevine library.

4 Widevine has level 1 level 2 level 3.Different level will has different solution.What you have to do is to meet the widevine's requirement.
