The meeting reconvened August 8, 1983 at 10:00 am, at
the ECKANKAR International Office, 120 Scott Drive, Menlo
Park, California.

Trustees Sri Harold Klemp, Peter Skelskey, Robert Engel;
Jan Davidson and Gordon Champion were present. Also
present was Joan Cross.

Chairman Peter Skelskey called the meeting to order and
announced that a quorum was present.

Trustee Robert Engel presented a resolution to the Board
regarding a change in the office of Secretary of the
corporation. After discussion, it was moved by Engel,
seconded by Davidson and unanimously carried:

RESOLVED: That Patricia Simpson Rivinus is hereby removed
as Secretary of ECKANKAR and her services as an officer
are hereby terminated, both such removal and termination
being effective immediately; and

RESOLVED FURTHER: That Joan Cross is hereby appointed as
Secretary of ECKANKAR, effective immediately, to serve the
unexpired portion of the current term or Secretary.

Patricia Simpson Rivinus only held the post of Secretary of ECKANKAR
for 24 hours, before she was removed and replaced by Mrs. Joan Cross,
who later became the wife of Harold Klemp.

This Secretary role is not as 'personal secretary' but an "Official of
the Corporation", a position that comes with both Legal Responsibilities
and Fiduciary Duties under the Law.

and ah the other question about Letters to Gail III. Paul had written
these letters to Gail as a private thing and they weren't met for the
whole world to see. In it he had techniques how to kill people, how to
use the tractor and retractor beams to tear a person apart. This is not
the kind of thing I want to be responsible for going out there. When
Darwin had this edited, they kept all this stuff in there, just a few
instances of it. The final editing hadn't been done.

Patti had been trained by Paul to EDIT THE WORKS according to the way it was.

Not as a proofreader, [...] no, but to put the ECK in and in some cases Paul
had an ASSOCIATION WITH OTHER GROUPS and then he'd say: I WANT THIS IN, I DO
NOT WANT THIS IN.

But in this case we've left it in. But when these techniques were in how
to kill people and unleashing that on this world, we've got enough problems.

I had the thing SHREDDED. There were, I don't know how many of them.

But Patti edited books I and II under Paul's direction ......

[ NOW that is very confusing way to say it; Paul was long dead when LTG 1 & 2
were "Edited and Published" in 1973 & 1977. Patti kept following Paul's prior
directions and methodology. That is a more true and clearer way to say it. ]

...... and she was excluded deliberately from editing book III and this
thing came out. It hadn't the final editing. There's a lot of editing
that goes on in any book for those of you who are writers. And so I've
asked her again to go through and edit it and she's gone through it one
by one, I'VE GOT IT ON MY DESK NOW. I hope to go through it before I go
to the South Pacific [Australia NZ]. Um that's about a week, a week and
a half.

And then back to Patti again to go through it, and THEN IT'S GOING INTO
TYPESETTING. I don't know if we'll have it by the Youth Conference [early
1984], but I want the thing to be gone over and AT LEAST TO MATCH THE WORKS
that were released during the time when Paul was alive.

Because many of the manuscripts Paul had finished, they were UNEDITED,
they were UNFINISHED. He was putting them together. THEY WERE MANUSCRIPTS HE
HAD WRITTEN YEARS BEFORE. He hadn't been able TO SELL THEM BECAUSE ECKANKAR
hadn't come out, and now he put them together, and he had to OUTFIT THEM FOR
ECKANKAR.

that these things go out. If it was a private letter, that the private things

... well if they were, they were NOT USED by Sri Darwin Gross,
nor any of his supporters!!!

Just more extremely biased and distorted way to speak out of both sides of his
mouth. Intentionally seeking to muddy the waters, and to receive thanks and
acclaim from the unknowing, the ignorant, and the easily misled by poisoning
the well, and using one's external "authority" to bluff one's way through a
talk without needing to provide any evidence or real justification for one's
actions in August 1983.

RE: Klemp was promising that LTG 3 would be out reprinted in early 1984.
His heavily *re-written edited redacted version*, was in fact not Published
as a book until 1990, over 6 years later!

The first revision was sent out as a High Initiate Only Discourse series about
1985. Soon after Patti Simpson-Rivinus quit her job and left the organisation
never to return.

H.K.: I've opened it up, first step I've done is open the Board to become
a working Board. Again,we want to put the 8th initiates who've earned it
the hard way to move out in front. "When it is time for me to pass the Rod
of ECK Power to the next person, I have to do it.

I know exactly what I have to do whether it takes 10 years or 20. And the
longer it takes me to do it, so be it. The Rod of EGK Power gets too hot to
handle beyond the time of your mission and you have to let it go. Darwin
had to let it go or the Rod of ECK Power will burn you to a crisp, that
means your health will go to destruction. He had to pass it, when my time
comes I have to pass it. I know when my time comes, and the mission to me,
even though all this is happening is slowing me down, it seems too modest
and too small.

The temptation of that time is saying hey we finally got it rolling, let's
go and then I'd say hey, let's go ten times the amount that I wanted felt
I should have done and it plays with me constantly, but I know when that
time comes, I'm setting it in my mind every day, I get out and it's going
to be good for the teachings of ECK.

The other question is, you're stuck with the person who holds the Rod of
ECK Power. (laughter) (applause)

Our organisation is now set up where all the power in the organizational
chain is vested in the President, because when Darwin gave up the Rod of
ECK Power, he had to, he had no choice, because it's still the ECK which
runs the show. And it's almost like a window of miracles that I was able
to move in. There's a whole story behind this too. But it happened, and
he tried to sow up his power in the presidency.


[NOTE: This duplicitous rubbish Klemp is speaking here. The Presidency
automatically shifted to Klemp when he became the LEM in Oct 81, but the
mechanics of that new change Approved of the the Board of Trustees, it
didn't happen "formally" until January 1982. This change, instigated by
Gross and the whole Board, meant that the LEM must ALWAYS be the
President too.
Klemp is telling this story inside out and upside down and backwards.
The change in the Corporate By-Laws occurred at the same time that Klemp
was known to become the next LEM, and continued after he was raised to
a Trustee in the Oct 1981 Board meeting. When all the legal paperwork
was done. Then Klemp was Voted in as President of ECKANKAR in January
1982. It was KLEMP that willingly RESIGNED as President. No one forced
him to. He himself Voted FOR it, and voted FOR Gross to step into the
role again in April 1982 Board Meeting. The minutes prove this beyond
any doubt.
It was Klemp himself who just walked away from that responsibility!!!
IOW this is one of the most egregious intentional or deluded UNTRUTH
told to the HIs on this day in Oct 1983. Or only honestly "mistaken"?]

Klemp continues with:

"All the power in our organization is vested in the President."

[ That was not true at all .. the Power was vested in the By-Laws
of the Corporation and the people with the authority to exercise those
Powers was the Board of Trustees as a collective Voice of common sense
and reason, to with Integrity and Ethics be of Service and Dutiful to
the principles (By-Laws) of the Corporation which itself was based upon
the principles and values of the ECK Teachings.

In all Corporations there are Officials who do hold more 'power' than
others on the Board or in management, such as the President. But at all
times he is still beholden to the Board and the Law for all his
decisions and actions.

If the power was all vested in the President, as misrepresented by
Klemp here, then how come the Board was able to dismiss the President
without cause, or warning, or any opportunity to answer the false charges
laid against him by Klemp and others and therefore defend himself to
that very Board?

If all powers were vested in the President he would have been able to
dismiss Klemp and the entire Board at will. Klemp is blatantly spreading
egregious and slanderous disinformation here to Eckankar High Initiates.

How does he ever sleep at night? The man is seriously on another planet.
More front than the Russians, as they say. It is total rubbish what he
said back then about this. ]

"If you know anything about organizational structures or ours especially,
you have the Living ECK Master, Board of Trustees. The Board of
Trustees then hires someone called the president, therefore it's a
backward kind of thing.

"It's not like the worlds of God where the power comes from top on down,
where there is Sugmad. and then Sat Nam, Kal Niranjan, Jot Niranjan and
then down here. It isn't. [ Well DOH ! ]

"The president is subject to the board, is subject to himself in a way."


[Note: That's PURE SOPHISTRY - twisting the reality into something
it wasn't. And never was! On Klemp's (illogical untrue) rationale,
Darwin Gross effectively sacked himself on the 7th August 1983, if
one believes what Klemp claims here!
Anyone who accepts this 'ECKplanation' is off their rocker and as mad as
a cut snake! None of this by Klemp is close to the God's honest truth.]


"I want to put it back to the Living ECK Master and finally you're
stuck with me and all you can do is say, hey when the ECK says the
Rod is too hot to handle, it's going to get him out the way it made
the transition in 1981. So you're stuck with me."

Here's some hard facts based upon public domain evidence:

The Oregon Corporation (Dharma Aircraft) was bought and name changed (Glen
Eden Press) by ECKANKAR, and was always a wholly owned Subsidiary Corporation
that was 100% legally controllable at all times by the Board of Trustees of
ECKANKAR, and not Darwin Gross personally WITHOUT their Approval by majority
Vote at Board Meetings.

The Home Office Property at Glen Eden Oregon was fully approved by the Board
of Trustees. One Trustee was the Official Architect in charge of the construction
and was commissioned BY and paid for BY Eckankar Corp to build on the land.

The property was always known and agreed to be a permanent Residence for Darwin
Gross, in semi-retirement and when he later retired permanently. That was the
agreement by all on the Board of Trustees, and Klemp knew this before he was
raised to LEM in Oct 1983. No one ever challenged that.

Harold Klemp was at every Board meeting from October 1981, and was privy to any
and all information regarding the operations of ECKANKAR Corp at all times.

Klemp as well as every other Trustee VOTED FOR THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS to the newly
name changed Glen Eden Press in Oregon before any of those Bank transfers were
effected or attempted to be effected.

It is Klemp himself who was operating OUTSIDE his level of Authority, and the
prior agreement by Votes of the Board of Trustees, UNLAWFULLY and UNETHICALLY,
as a Trustee of the Board, interfered in Blocking some of those bank transfers.

Klemp was Voted in as President of the Corporation, replacing Darwin Gross in
January 1982. Klemp willingly asked for, and freely RESIGNED from that position
in April 1982, and it was Voted by the Board of Trustees to reappoint Darwin
Gross. They were both UNANIMOUS Voted on by all, including BY Klemp himself!

As President, and as a Trustee of the Board it was self-evident that Klemp was
unskilled, naive, over-rated his own intelligence and wisdom, had no experience
in such responsible positions and lacked the wherewithal of grasping such
Corporate and Management responsibilities at that time. Klemp had rarely, if
ever, been a qualified trainer or a superior of anyone, in any workplace, since
he was born. Simply put he was INCOMPETENT in the role and Gross finally
recognized this, but obviously far too late.

The Board of Trustees unanimously agreed and voted accordingly.

Klemp was so unbalanced, uncommunicative, and psychologically unstable that
he was incapable of working "normally" from the Office premises. He rarely went
to the Menlo Park office. When he did do so, he was incapable of walking through
the front door! He himself has acknowledged publicly on several occasions. The
most recent was his Easter seminar talk of 2012 after his broken hip .. aka as
his self-pity party talk.

These are the facts, and not opinion, nor a theory!

That is precisely why Klemp lost his position as President of ECKANKAR in April
1982. Darwin Gross did not want nor did he SEEK the role of President post-Jan
1982, but accepted it as a matter of GOOD FAITH SERVICE and no other person or
alternative being possible under the BY-Laws of the Corporation.

Glen Eden Press was established to take over all PUBLISHING activities of ECKANKAR.
That was agreed to and Voted upon by the full Board of Trustees including Klemp
and Peter Skelskey (current President of ECKANKAR since 1985).

Eckankar's Property including Office equipment, computers, furniture, files, misc
supplies, (personal secretary) Bernadette Burlin's and Darwin's personal belongings
was agreed to, Voted on, and known by ALL Board of Trustees as being relocated at
ECKANKAR's expense to the Glen Eden Property during the period from June 1983
through to August 1983.

Darwin Gross had permanently relocated his home residence there in early June 1983.
It was already expected that Klemp would then be able to take back the title of
President of ECKANKAR. Darwin was moving into semi-retirement, and EVERYONE KNEW
THIS, or should have if they were awake and not asleep at the wheel.

His last Official engagement was as Key Note Speaker at the European Seminar at
The Hague in July 1983. His diary was clear of ALL commitments with the exception
of any planned Board of Trustee meetings, and some upcoming music concerts.

He had just spent TWO YEARS 24/7 re-organizing the Eckankar Office and
Administration Operations, installing new computer systems, fixing long term problems,
and a hundred other things, long past the time when he wished to no longer be needed
in such roles. Klemp could never have done these things, nor even understood them.

From Oct 1981 to August 1983 Klemp never Voted *NO* once in a Board Meeting!!!

The Board of Trustees were LEGALLY BOUND by a Duty of Care for the Trusteeship of
ECKANKAR, the 'non-profit articles of the organization" - not the membership or
ECKists. The only real "members" of ECKANKAR were the Trustees, and they came and
went like a revolving door. They always had the freedom and the legal RIGHT to ask
for and receive more information, and Vote in any way they believed was RIGHT for
the legal entity Corporation. For no one else, and for no other reason. Trustees
had a single legal duty of care to the "entity" ECKANKAR, not the teachings and not
Eckists around the world.

The Board of Trustees was a completely functional Board for a decade prior to August
1983, with the exception of actions taken by Klemp and others.

In mid 1983 Klemp with Peter Skelskey's personal assistance was instrumental in holding
an UNLAWFUL Board Meeting (phone hook up) where only some Trustees were advised of it
or participated. It was NOT a Quorum, it was inappropriate and out of order. These
kinds of things Klemp was doing all through 1983, and post Darwin's sacking.

Klemp and the entire Board of Trustees were subsequently and personally advised, and
this is noted in the Board Minutes, by the Chairman of the Board and Corporate Lawyer
of the time, that that act was both outside the controlling By-Laws of the Corporation
as Trustee and US Corporation Laws. It was a *not legal act* in other words.

Despite this, Klemp and Skelskey again arranged another UNLAWFUL meeting of only some
of the Trustees without advising ALL of them with the notice as required, on the 6th
August 1983, the day before Darwin Gross, plus the lawyer and Chairman, and the Office
Manager and Trustee, were dismissed on the 7th.

Klemp had absolutely no Legal or Board Authority to direct Darwin Gross to do or not
do a single thing. He didn't have the power to tell Darwin to take a piss.

That is a FACT!

Darwin Gross as President held all the Powers invested in that position by the ECKANKAR
Board of Trustees alone. Klemp had none. Skelskey had none.

Darwin Gross was rightfully employed by the Board of Trustees, he was not employed by
Klemp. Klemp was NOT his direct superior, the Board of Trustees were as a WHOLE. That
is a Legal Fact too!

And yet Klemp was the head of a covert, possibly criminal, Conspiracy against Darwin
Gross in 1983. The man had absolutely no idea what he was doing, such was the extent
of his incompetency as a Board Member and then living ECK Master, plus his
psychologically immature, unbalanced and extremely Paranoid state. That was no doubt
fed by listening to months of Office GOSSIP, the Evil Tongue, coming to him from
sources like Mrs Joan Cross and Mrs Patti Simpson-Rivinus too!

Now, Patti Simpson acted in another Conspiratorial role claiming she represented all
the then 8th Initiates of Eckankar, when really it was only four of 6 all up.

On or about the 23rd July 1983 Patti Simpson wrote a letter to Klemp DEMANDING with
"THREAT of reprisals" the immediate removal of Darwin Gross as President of Eckankar.

This now appears to be directly connected back to the production of the Letters to
Gail Vol III book in June 1983. That book was supervised by Darwin personally and the
main Editor was his secretary Bernadette Burlin.

The production of that book was like all other matters APPROVED OF BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES, again including Klemp and Skelskey. Patti Simpson had been removed from the
LOOP, despite being Director of Publications at the time. But she knew for over a
year that book was being produced. She did nothing and said nothing.

Patti Simpson's best personal friend was one *Gail Twitchell-Gross* at the time,
who had removed herself from all connections with Eckankar. Gail was then the recent
divorcee of one Darwin Gross!

In July 1982, Gail Twitchell-Gross (later Anderson) SOLD any and all her remaining
legal Property Rights over Paul Twitchell's personal Estate invested in his Copyright
Ownership of Eckankar related publications and his unpublished Manuscripts and personal
writings, called here his "Private Archive".

She also relinquished all ongoing Royalty INCOME for the use of Twitchell's published
and private archive for the amount of $500,000 (Half a million bucks in 1982!). This
terminated all legal connections between her and Eckankar, coming on the recent
divorce settlement with Darwin Gross.

Quoting Gail A Anderson some time back now:
"The worst decision of my entire life was marrying Darwin Gross!"

I say, the truism holds true: "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!"

And GUILT over one's prior decisions and the unexpected outcomes of that, can also
run quite deep too.

Back to Darwin Gross

Gross was NEVER questioned by Police or FBI or Corporate Law authorities about his
actions prior to August 7th 1983 when he was unexpectedly summarily dismissed by
the Board at the insistent DEMAND of Harold Klemp personally.

ECKANKAR never once reported Gross to authorities or law enforcement for any suspected
or possible criminal behavior or breach of Trust as President or Trustee of the Board
of ECKANKAR.

ALL Cash, bank deposit funds, property, home office, personal use of a car, and office
materials and supplies and equipment was RETURNED when requested by the Board, and
Darwin at all times willing acted in accord with the requests of the Board of
ECKANKAR and it's legal representatives, or by subsequent agreement.

The ONLY thing that Eckankar was never returned was the ORIGINAL Member Files and
Initiation records of those Chelas who received their Initiations in ECKANKAR under
his authority. But he did make of correct Photocopy of all of those documents and
duly sent to Eckankar in early 1984 (or maybe late 1983, hard to tell)

Therefore, what Klemp told the High Initiates about Darwin Gross at the 1983 WW
seminar was manifestly NOT TRUE and/or an extremely distorted misrepresentation of
the FACTS of the matter. In Oct 1983 Klemp claims that Darwin was still receiving his
salary and other employee benefits in full. That was true, at the time.

ONE WEEK LATER Eckankar under direction from Klemp stopped his salary, cancelled all
employee benefits, cancelled his health insurance, demanded the return of his car and
all other Eckankar property then in his possession. he had already been evicted from
the home in Oregon in mid-September 1983 with only 7 days notice. Klemp never told
anyone that publicly in a letter or at his next seminar, nor to THIS DAY has he
spoken the truth of these matters.

POST-1983

1) DARWIN GROSS

Like 99.9999% of everyone who ever called themselves an ECKIst or still do, Darwin was a
gullible fool. Not his fault. He "grossly" misinformed! (excuse the unintentional pun)

As most people knowledgeable about Eckankar history, Darwin Gross sued ECKANKAR in Court
for the reinstatement and honoring of his Employment Contract that covered him until
his death, or resignation. Gross lost that case, on a simple legal technicality, in 1985.
He tried to lauch an appeal but due to poverty, ill health and legal mechanisms he failed
to win yet again. I think Gross was a "gullible" because he sued Eckankar and Klemp for
the wrong thing. He would have been far more likely to succeed if he took a case against
them for a) Unfair dismissal b) conspiracy to defraud him and c) for egregiously untrue
slander and libel.

Furthermore, if he had any sense at all, he would have gone straight to the Corporation
Law Authorities, the IRS, and the Federal Attorney General in the USA and given verbal
and documentary evidence about the operations of ECKANKAR including his illegal,
unethical and unconscionable dismissal by Klemp and the Board of Trustees.

He didn't. Why? Lost in a world of spiritual make-believe, he actually still believed
everything that Twitchell had ever said or implied was actually true. His morals and
spiritual values and integrity precluded him from taking such "earthly actions" in his
own defense. Maybe SUGMAD told him IT would sort it out and so just be patient. Who
knows? But anything is possible when one's mental powers have been destroyed and one
is under non-stop Psychic attack and outer criticisms and blaming from thousands due
the level of falsehoods being told about him all over the world.

2) PATTI SIMPSON

Within two years of Darwin's removal and her choice to support Klemp instead and her
and the 8ths Unconscionable demand to remove Darwin Gross or else, she was gone from
Eckankar forever. She remained close friends with Gail until she passed away in 2011.
Why did they do what they did? Easy. Both were enamored and under Twitchell's spell
their entire lives. Weeks before she died as wise elderly woman she was still
referring to Twitchell as the GREAT MAN ... and yes her Caps, not mine! Hey, basically
she and many others just loved him to bits. Patti and Gail would have done ANYTHING,
and have done that to a T, to defend and protect the reputation and IMAGE of Paul
Twitchell, as they believed it to be.

Fact is, Patti only knew Twitchell for the last 3 years of his life, and only 2 years
of that was close contact. Gail only knew Twitchell from age 19 for just on 9 years.
Neither really KNEW him, what they saw was they got. But it was never the WHOLE TRUTH.
But when Paul said something, they hung on very single word and swallowed it WHOLE.
Rationalization is an amazing thing in action. So is cognitive dissonance and the power
of impassioned BELIEF. Especially when you are in love with a person. Helen Baird and
many others had the same issues here. They were all *enamored* with the Twitchell
Charms. He was the Rooster and they were the Hens in the Chicken Coop. God bless them
all. Darwin wasn't the only one to be foolish and gullible see?

So over the years both disappeared after the connections were broken with the
Organisation under the care and control of Klemp. Don't be confused here, this
information is NOT about Darwin was OK and blame free. He did have his ethical issues,
no doubt about that. But who doesn't? It's all depends on the specifics. Don't believe
the Gossip though, it's a dead end deal. The only thing that counts is credible evidence
and nuanced investigations of connecting the important dots BEFORE arriving at what
one might believe is the "truth".

Few can do this, for gossip, especially when given out by those seen as "authority"
figures with Status in the eyes of others. Is so much easier, isn't it? I have none.
I have nothing to gain or and nothing to lose in this game. Nothing! Beware of those
who do have huge *investment* in keeping the real truth untold and their BELIEF Supreme.

The next time Patti Simpson showed up "publicly" was on Marman's Spiritual Dialogues
Website. Later she was the first, one and only Key note speaker at a SDP Seminar. Guess
where that was ? Yes, OREGON !!!! Who'd have been able to make up such a better script
than that? Patti Simpson gave Marman his 5th Initiation. She was special to him, she
and Gail took Marman under their wing. Maybe Doug could redeem Twitchell's unfairly
trashed reputation, they thought. They were right. Well half right, because this story
is not over yet, despite ALL appearances to the contrary.

Patti didn't lose all connections to Eckankar though, only her public ones. AS an early
recruit she enjoyed the benefits of a Life Membership in Eckankar. She maintained her
Initiation level going so high as to be one of a half handful of people able to give
newly promoted 8ths their Initiations for decades ongoing. How high was she in Eckankar
"lore"? A 10th? An 11th? Good question isn't it? Did Gail continue to also give ECKists
their Initiations post 1982? That's a great question too.

Anyway Patti was basically gone from Eckankar in 1985, she retired and went into
relative obscurity in the USA. At some point though in the 1990s she did allow her
membership renewal to lapse. The point is, before she died, Patti had so little respect
for either Klemp or Skelskey that she couldn't even speak of them using their names!
Gotta love the Golden Tongued Wisdom, because absolutely no one is able to Trademark
that and claim they Own IT. It's free to all, when you know how to use it and hear
it ringing true.

3) HAROLD KLEMP

The most non-credible, unbelievable, incoherent, "I can't recall", know nothing witness
giving Sworn evidence under oath during the Darwin Gross court case would have to be
Klemp, bar none. I'll just make that factual statement and move along.

In 1986 however Klemp restructured the entire Corporate setup of ECKANKAR. One of the
first things was the (suddenly) no longer necessary requirement that the LEM also be
the President of ECKANKAR. Despite this being some kind of a contention in the Gross
saga, and FALSE claims that Gross was stopping Klemp form being the President, as soon
as Gross, Patti and a few others were dispatched

Klemp turned the whole LEGAL DOCTRINE on it's head and made Skelskey President of
Eckankar - all of sudden it was no big deal who was the President and who was the LEM.
How quickly things change! But the big ticket item in 1985-87 was the restructuring of
the ECKANKAR Corp By-Laws etc., and the creation of a new Corporation called The
Living ECK Master Sole Corporation.

Klemp is the Sole owner/operator of this entity. But last I looked Doug Kunin (Sharon's
husband, is listed as a signatory officer, plus Skelskey, at the "pleasure of" Mr Klemp.
All power rests in Klemp and this Corporation is a Property Asset at his Sole
discretion and also under his Deceased Estate/Will/Power of Attorney, or whatever. So
what? So, what changed in the Eckankar Corporation setup was that The Living ECK Master
Sole became the SOLE LEGAL OWNER with the POWER over everything worldly to do with
ECKANKAR, the religious non-profit Corporation / Religion; all it's assets, bank
accounts, income producing assets, now and forever Amen!

Whilst technically their is still a Board of Trustees that makes decisions about the day
to day operations of ECKANKAR Corp, Klemp still maintains overall Power and Control over
everyone and everything. The LEM Sole is the REAL Corporate owner of all the property and
assets. The Board of Trustees can be dismissed at any anytime, without cause or reason
needed, and without Notice. Would that to occur, then Eckankar ceases to exist as a
teaching, and all memberships become null and void, unless Klemp or whoever he Wills
to be the next LEM after him decides to re-create it and reformalise it under a
different Corporate entity and a new Board of Trustees.

What never changes is that the KING is the Sole Owner and Authority of and over ALL. Of
course any most ECKists will not see any problem with this, and will justify it most
likely by the Gross example. Yet, even should the KING be end up like King Lear, or
Mad Kind George who lost America in the Revolution of 1776, nothing changes.

4) DOUG MARMAN

Was having a few chats with Marman back in 2012 after Patti Simpson died. Kept copies
of everything for my records. I'm no gullible fool! Anyway he got to speaking about
several email communications he had been having with one Harold Klemp. Marman said to
me that one day he will probably make those PUBLIC. I asked how could you do that?
He said, well because Klemp is a PUBIC FIGURE then any private personal communications
are fair game. "Really?" I inquired of Doug. "Yes" he told me. That's the Law. Well,
now who knew? <smile>

Anyway the conversations, or dialogues as Marman would prefer that term, between the
two kind of went like this:

Q. When are you going to step aside Harold?

A. Never!

Q. But what about your statements at that Oct 1983 HI meeting at the WW seminar?

A. What statements?

Q Well Harold you said then: "When it is time for me to pass the Rod of ECK Power
to the next person, I have to do it. and you also said: "The Rod of EGK Power gets

too hot to handle beyond the time of your mission and you have to let it go. Darwin
had to let it go or the Rod of ECK Power will burn you to a crisp, that means your
health will go to destruction."

Harold you also said: "... and finally you're stuck with me and all you can do is

say, hey when the ECK says the Rod is too hot to handle, it's going to get him out
the way it made the transition in 1981."

Harold, your health has been a mess for well over a decade now, don't you think
it's time to move on and let it go?

A. HA! I am not going anywhere. It's mine. They'll have to take me out in a box
before I will ever it on to another!

Now, Marman's latest "rationalization" is that Klemp does have the spiritual
authority from SUGMAD to continue on as the living ECK master, if he chooses. So
even the SUGMAD can't make Klemp go! Can you believe that? But that's OK, because
as Marman has been telling people privately for years now, Klemp as had the
MAHANTASHIP taken from him, and another is now the Mahanta, and Klemp is only the
LEM. Marman of course, can't say WHO the Mahanta really is, for each person has to
go find that out for themselves. It's your own Spiritual Challenge to find out, see?

There's an EASY WAY OUT no matter what situation arises in the Mythologies of
Klempankar, and Marmankar. What crap! My guess is that Klemp never really got the
Waking Dreams when he had all those Car Accidents and EMR issues, and his teeth
falling out and everything else. I am certain that he definitely did not get the
waking dream meanings when he slipped over on BLACK ICE. That despite his painful
calling out for Joan, she couldn't hear him because they live in a very secure and
SOUND PROOF home. And he ended up in hospital for several months with a broken hip
.... Slipped and Fell - Loss of structural support - Loss of balance - Pain and
suffering. Hello? His health going to Destruction long ago.

5) PROF DAVID C LANE PhD. and ex-7th Initiate Lawyer FORD JOHNSON (HCS)

It would be very true to say that these two people did, at different times, do
some historical research and presented that information to the public and for the
benefit of those seeking it. They both deserve a lot of credit and grateful thanks
of many people. However, there is one major thing they both got totally wrong
regarding Eckankar. THEY BOTH STOPPED RESEARCHING and INVESTIGATING WHAT THEY HAD
or DIDN'T HAVE WAY TOO SOON.

Had they been less concerned about themselves personally, and thought bigger and
broader, and kept on going harder at it BEFORE going public with their facts, part
facts, false facts, and their leaps of faith assumptions over the huge gaps in the
evidence in 1983 and in 2004 then things could have been very different.

Maybe Marman would never had a book to print! And the WHOLE TRUTH may have been out
there a decade or more ago. I don't know, and really it doesn't matter now. Except
that there are now so many who DID know heaps more than ever made it to a.r.e. or
David and Ford's websites who are dead now. What they knew has gone with them.
That's a shame. Maybe Klemp and Eckankar could have been sued out of business or
had their Religious status revoked, and far less harm would have been all round.

We will never know.

And so that's the other side of the story. The truth, the whole truth and nothing
but the truth! Make of it what you will. Of course there is no such thing as a Mahanta.
As Gail said all those years ago "He made it all up." If I may add to that "... as he
went along!" But if you still do believe in such things, and have confidence in your
own inner talents, then by all means Dial UP Twitchell, Gross, and Patti S on your
inner telephone and ask them directly. I have checked everything myself too, just to
be sure.

But if your answer comes back: "He doesn't know what he is talking about." or something
similar, I can assure you your inner connection to the Master Power Above is faulty.
Call a good repair technician! And consider asking for a Refund on your past Service
Charges! It really doesn't bother me nor concern me one bit what people might think
of these matters or myself. Ignore them, or try to attack me or and label me with any
old word you feel like tossing around, for all I care, for I do not.

Interesting information. It was a long read and I read most of it except for the remainder of last

post. However, I found the first couple posts very insightful.

I've wondered about the Eckankar "corporate structure" before and why the Living Eck Master had to

sign an employment agreement. Who is the employer?

Think about this for a moment. Something more was involved in the structure even before Eckankar

became a non-profit religious organization in 1970. There was a Board, and Eckankar Board and a

President of Eckankar.

I think it also important to note how the official terms Living Eck Master and Mahanta, etc., were

relatively new (late 1960s early 1970s) by the time of the non-profit corporation in 1970.

Dr. Louis Bluth was the President of Eckankar during the founder's time. He was also said to be Paul

Twitchell's personal doctor and friend. So I don't for one minute doubt there was some power invested

in the President at that time. And if Mr. Bluth did have associations with Scientology (this needs to

be checked) and wanted to make something better before he met Paul Twitchell and Eckankar.

(I haven't positively confirmed Bluth's relationship with Scientology, or if even he was an official

member. What I do believe was confirmed was Bluth's involvement with Radhasoami (check spelling).

From what I read on this thread so far I come away with a couple suspicions.

1.) The truth of the ruling organizational structure of "Eckankar" in the very beginning was not the

same as what Paul Twitchell, the founder, spelled out in the Eckankar dogma and mythology.

2.) Harold Klemp wanted to become the Living Eck Master even before he got the position. And Harold

later wanted the organizational structure to more closely match what was spelled out (and how he

interpreted) the Eckankar mythos.

These are only suspicions and hunches. They are not statements, but only what I suspect at this point.

There is common sense and truth existing in the world at any time, I think it fair to say, existing

with imagination and fictions. So I believe these two, in the form of truth vs. fiction, have not

always been the best of friends. I suspect these two elements might have been at the bottom of what

was described on this thread.

RESPONSE

In regard to a Legally accepted term that was repeatedly used by several people in order
to NOT answer questions put to them during the Gross vs ECKANKAR court case. Catholics called
it "confession". Eckankar kind has the ESA program setup in a similar but exactly the same
way, but it retains the same legal protections to not divulge personal information to Eckankar
Clergy.

Note, that in 1983 there was no such a position as "Clergy" like there is today. There
was only a budding Eck Spiritual Aid (ESA) program. There were no RESAs either (?). Sure
there were people in charge of Eckankar Charter groups (Satsangs) but they were not known
as RESAs. [ at least I think that is the case, do correct me if that is not so in 1983.]

Now the Legal term is known as a "Priest Penitence Communication". Under most western nations
common law and criminal law, ANY "Priest penitence communication" should always, or may be
kept confidential even when under oath in court or when given Sworn Affidavits or questioning
under Oath during "discovery" interviews by defendant and plaintiff lawyers. Roman Catholic
priests, and other religious Clergy/people have used this to protect the known criminal
behaviors of other people known to them, and thus were able to legally refuse to answer
questions from Police and in Court.

This same Legal statute "Priest Penitence Communication" was in play during the lead up
to the 1983 "dismissal" of Gross and two others, and all subsequent legal issues and court
appearances. Those I know for certain who claimed such a privileged to not answer questions
Under Oath, fully and truthfully, included Gross, Klemp, and Skelskey. Some might think this
doesn't matter. So what? So what because this matters a lot! It's the difference between
telling the truth fully and accurately, and not telling the truth at all.


To some people it just doesn't matter.
