Hi

Im using alfresco community edition 4.0b and Cmis to query the content from alfresco repo.I need to search the filename with case insensitivity can u plz suggest me on how this can be achieved or point me to some document or examples on this.
i.e,., if i have a file by name "example.doc" in repo then i should retrieve that document by passing "example.doc, EXAMPLE.dpc, Example.doc" as query parameters.

Hi Shiv,

I would recommend this document http://bit.ly/Vg3UF7  about Alfresco and Solr. Look for "schema.xml" and you will find a way to achieve what you want.

Regards,
David.

Hi Shiv,

Also when you make a property tokenised true then it is lucene search results in case-insensitive manner. In contrast, when a property is tokenized false it is case-sensitive. You have the option tokenised both but you will have to try this option because I don't know about it.

Regards,
David.
