"Nebukadineze Adiele":I, Mobolaji Ebenezer Aluko, identify fully with Reuben Chukwuemeka Okala's position below, and throw out your petition against Joseph Ugbodaga Igietseme with alacrity, and without any hope of succour to you.Notice that I spelt out the full names of all the persons in my first paragraph. I have met Okala and Igietseme in life and full blood. I cannot say the same of you....you are a ghost to me, an email address for all I know. You have a right to your hidden identity, but why should I support a ghost over a human?I am also particularly peeved because when you first burst onto the net, I was the first person (I believe) to take you up over the strange name of "Nebukadineze" - which looked too close to the lamented Nebuchadnezzer, and I wondered why any sane parent would so torture their son. Now "Adiele" is a known name to me - but Nebukadineze? I went on to believe your elaborate hoax of an explanation of the twisted meaning of "Nebu-ka-di-n'eze" in Igbo - only to be told privately by Igbo individuals that you are the ONLY "Nebukadineze" in the entire Igbo universe, and you were only being smart by a quarter. In short, more liarous than the swamp snake called Canice Onuoha!Let us admit: you write well. But you are fickle. You praise at the drop of a hat, and abuse at the drop of another hat. You have wicked fingers when it comes to writing. That is why when on those rare occasions you praise me, it is water off my back because your abusive trait can show in the next minute. You can in one minute show a flash of objective brilliance, and the next moment display a hurtful hatefulness from the pit of hell.......imagine how you hatefully refer to "awusa" and "Yoroba" even though you KNOW that they are derogatory references to large number of people living in the same vicinity with the Igbo of your prideful association. Not to talk of your heathenistic agnosticism, touting a anti-Christian godlessness that is happily bound for hell-fire in a hound-basket...unless you repent before D-Day....And how do you expect me to honor your petition when you refer to my Agenebode Weppa Wenno Kingdomite JUI, a man of no mean intellect, as "stupid....imbecilic....shameless...." ? Ehn, how?Just check him out here:Because he is rabble-rousing with you here? Ojo l'oro, to pa eyele po mo adie.....na rain fall, wey chicken and pigeon dey take shelter under the same roof of Naija-cyberspace (the pigeon being the more valuble bird in Yoruba folklore)..Moving on....Finally, JUI has found your psychological Archilles heel: that Abiodun story in which you claim to have wrestled a mad man that was hounding some girls at Owerri, a dangerous and unprofessional mission that you must have allegedly embarked upon out of some tortured chivalry. In clarifying and modifying that story, you have merely dug yourself into deeper hole.Of course, I too have helped in embellishing that story - with an inference of unproven transference of malady - but I do back off when I see that you are in near tears over it. In fact, I am aware that you have begged people behind - Abba for one, and it looks like Gregg Ukaegbu is the latest begger on your behalf. So my Christian sense of mercy kicks in.Finally, like Gregg stated, I think that we should all get along BETTER in 2016 than in 2015...after all, we are not getting any younger - and hopefully are getting wiser. And there you have it. I am done with my own ima njakiri! -)Bolaji Aluko

Perhaps what irks JUI the most is the temerity that a Nigerian has to come into a Nigerian forum and abuse people, call names, use ethnic/tribal slurs freely without self restraint [e.g., Yoroba, Awusa, Kukuruku, Izo etc], then turn around hypocritically to seek etiquette and moral-guided behaviors from other people.Secondly, is it not funny that a man who has already disrespected and trashed himself as a COWARD and impostor by using a fake name in a Brothers and Sisters forum like this is talking about respect? How can a senseless man who publicly spews Madman Abiodun-like fabus about fighting and pummeling mad people without shame be complaining about being disrespected by Mazi Dan Akusobi? Where in the world would an undignified man who uses slurs, trashtalk, insults, expletives and curses as normal or civilly acceptable vocabulary muster the moral standing to demand courtesy? These adaptative variations include differences in the shades ofskin pigmentation and other physical features to suit their new environments.Modern day peoples of African descent whose ancestors stayed close to the original birthplace in the plains of east Africa and north and south of the equator retained the original darkskin color in order to prevent them from dying from malignant melanoma which is one of the mostdeadly cancers that is caused by excessive exposure to Ultra Violet (UV) rays from the sun. Those whose ancestors moved across the then originally fused continents (pangea)into the temperate zones of the planet developed adaptive evolutionary mechanisms(through mutations) which decreased the rate of melanin production by melanocytesat the basal layer of the epidermis. This adaptation resulted in the fair skin pigmentation which enabledthe ancient ancestors of today's Europeans to absorb enough Vitamin D (an essential vitamin) thatrequires UV rays for its production in the human body. Without these evolutionary adaptations the ancient ancestors of today's light skinned Europeans would have all died of Vitamin D defiency. The same evolutionary mechanisms resulted in the development of numerous dialectal variationsin all languages and eventually in the formation of numerous mutually unintelligible languages--which nevertheless still retain some rudimental tonal qualities and similarities however remote to one anotherthat have enabled enabled linguists to build the entire human linguistic family tree that connects all languagesspoken in the world today. All languages spoken in the southern regions of Nigeria and across most of West Africa belong to theNiger-Congo branch of the Bantu African family tree.If we keep walking back over thousangs of years in the past we would reach a point when allpeoples of the West Africa including Nigeria spoke one language and belonged to one ethnic group..In essence all of our languages and various ethnicities in Nigeria share a common origin. Thus to argue that the Ikwerre language is not related to the Igbo language is to turn logicon its head--especially when there is documentary sufficient documntary proof that some Nigerian languagesespecially Yoruba share commonalities including words, names of objects with languagesspoken in the Sudan and some parts of the Middle East. There are more languages per hundred thousand square kilometres in Africa than there arein Europe and in other parts of the world. The cause of this finding continues to be debated by experts in the field of linguistics. One theory suggests that because Africans stayed close to the original source, they were moreprone to move away from one another and in so doing create, either consciously or unconsciouslynew dialects of one language which later evolve into new languages that are mutually unintelligiblefrom the languages spoken from their original abode before they migrated. One theory suggests that new diaclects andlanguages evoved because the new migrants weredistrustful not only of those from their original neighbours but also amongst each other. To the contrary, the migrants to the more challenging climatic regions of the world--the European continent-needed to stay close to one another in other to survive the tremendous odds that mother naturehad in their wake--hence the need for fewer distinct languages. Conclusion:Ikwerre is related to the Igbo language. The boundary line that defines whena dialectal variation of one language becomes a distinct language on its own merit is anextremely fuzzy one!The unending Ikwerre is Igbo and Ikwerre is not Igbo argument is a meaningless one.It is a waste of precious time!Bye,Ola---- Original Message ----

Apparently Nebu does not realize that the contradictions, bizarreness and stupidity in his writings and reactions are among the reasons forumites would like to know how such a muddled up human being can survive in a civilized law profession that he claims to belong to. Unfortunately, Nebu thinks he’s such a darling and desired personality….hahaha! Besides, Nebu harbors this misguided thought that his own interpretation of his communication is the only way it shown be understood or interpreted; and he talks of imbecility while his lunacy stinks and drenches his every thought, writing and even his surroundings. I’m thinking that since Nebu has been taking incessant blows on both chins since August of last year, that we should lay off a little bit and be kind. Let’s not worry about who is wrong or right. He is not a bad person and moreover, he is our own bros. So, may I suggest that we let things be and work together as one.

Attention Guyz,Growing up Nigeria, we were told that the words of our elders are words of wisdom.I have been reading what you professors write, it makes wonder what type of knowledge you people are passing to your students. It is really disheartening to see that the words of our elders are not what we were taught. And those who love their country are here fighting each other. What type of love is that? May be you people need grudge match to settleyour differences.Nigerian Professors, RO NU ! RO NU !! In Nigeria, state governors, LG chairmen, lawmakers help themselves to state resources and our public servants are maximum rulers over us, even traffic wardens can wield power over innocent ordinary citizens just for jollies. Why? Because they can! There's no one knowledgeable and conscious enough to put a stop to the backwardness even with all the over-educated in the society. We're too busy and pre-occupied to organize and demand accountability. What occupies our "best minds"? Garbage. Who is to blame for the rot that has become institutionalized in Nigeria? All these yahoos around here creating artificial noise around "Biafra/Igbo sikwa-Igbo asighi", internet bogeyman wars and other childish crap. For once, let some of these professors organize a drive to install oversight and accountability across the board, instead of counting on the Buhari, the corruption czar to come and chase some mythical corruption beast away. When crude hits $15/barrel some of you may not be able to come to the internet to insult people from where you are being held for ransom by angry kids whose future you have helped piss away.C. Ukachukwu"More relevant however is that I have always found it despicable conduct when an elected individual diverts the resources of the people over whom he presides to carving out for himself a sinecure. Self-service should not be read in the vocabulary of anyone fortunate enough to be called to serve his or her people."-- Professor Wole Soyinka

On all that Dr. Joseph Igietseme has submitted below, I append my worthy signature. I agree with him in total! Not only does Nebukadineze Adiele, like the devil (that he actually is), go up and down the entire cyberspace looking for who to devour (and in some cases has actually devoured many unprovoked) with his fake personality, blatant lies and craft, he curses and shouts obscenities and all stinking swearing words that you can imagine at people unbridled, whenever one's position is at variance with his in a debate. For well over a decade, this man has been hiding under the criminal mask with the inscription "Nebukadineze Adiele" and has hoodwinked not a few discussants - including this writer, to believing that, that was his real name until recently when he ran out of luck by exposing himself unwittingly behind this mask! He must have cursed the day he wrote that unbelievable statement that actually showcased him as a faceless man!He has an unparalleled ingenuity in fabricating falsehood and with the same skill spreads it against his prey by rehearsing it over and over again until some gullible members of the community start singing his chorus. Pray never to be his target! When I say Nebukadineze Adiele is bad, he is really very bad! May we never have two of his kind at a time in a space like this!He should enjoy wearing the mask whilst it lasts, but one thing I do believe is that his real identity will be exposed shortly and unwittingly by himself. This is my message to Nebukadineze Adiele!

Okoi,
Yes, Nebu may be a demagogue, as you surmise but demagoguery ain't against the law.
We are not in a religious group here where we can talk about sinners and saints. We are in a hard hitting discussion group that discusses mostly politics. Therefore, we should expect some discomfort from the way other people express themselves.
In a group like this, the only prohibition should be academic (and other) dishonesty, propaganda/intentional falsehood, and impunity.
We should keep in mind the intent of the Freedom of Speech.
Personal differences between honest people shouldn't translate into bile in a political discussion forum.

Joe,'We' who? That's part of your problem. There is no 'we' here. Everybody is a sovereign individual on his own feet and the only one responsible for what he/she posts. If you get that, you may understand the other issues. What lies has Nebu told against you? I don't know any because he merely criticized the wrong things you claimed and the false claims you make here.Whether a person tells tales that are incredible to you or just plain lies is not an offense in a group like this; you believe it or disbelieve it, no harm done.Neither I nor you know whether Nebu's presented names are real or unreal. Even if it is a Pen Name, he is entitled to it. How many famous writers write with their real names. How do you know that Leye Ige, Viscount Slim, and Bolaji Aluko are not the one and same person? Or Ben Aduba and Ezeana Achusin one nd the me person? Yet you show no such angsts against these two; and you should not, on this basis alone. And this is not a brother/sister group except when you want to whip up people's sentiments against an individual or groups of individuals because you don't think that you can do it alone. You, of all people, should know by now that nobody has a bigger stick to kill a snake on these forums (not my beloved Revered Prince of Mushin) than I. Nebu's style of communication doesn't threaten me; nor should anybody feel threatened by it and go on a Jihad because of it, as you happen to be doing. Just don't read him, if you feel too uncomfortable by it because these are open forums.I am sure that, when you are ready, you will tell the forum when Nebu stole your wife, as the real reason you are spending so much of your waking life planning his demise! You should, particularly, take care!

Ayo,What will this forum smell like if we do not have a Nebu Adiele and ourEmeka Okala, or Osuji, 3 Igbos that keep us afoot here?Is there any Nigerian related topics here that lasts over 1 or two days, unless it has an Igbo this or that affixed to it?What else do we need to say about Nigerian politics and elections and missing or stollen or none existent budgets that should be attracting us back here for fun? What is in Ayo to make him a lead in our discusses? What about Afis, I mean, what can we make out of Afis devoid of his hate for the Igbos?Nebu is of great use here to us as a drum and as a "case study" and one that drives most people, Dan inclusive, crazy. There must be a way to keep him afloat here and that is what happens and he has never missed to push back as hard.Dan
