Hello everyone!

It is that time again! Our May 2012 meeting is coming up next Thursday the 31st. Right now we do not have a topic, so if anyone has something they want to discuss, speak up!

There has been some recurring discussion of restful APIs as a topic, so let me know if people are still interested. If no one has a particular subject in mind, then we will have an open meeting, which is something we haven't done in a while.

Also, there will likely not be a June meeting, since the last Thursday is during MADExpo (we can have a social meeting at the conference if all of you attend!)

We will be meeting at Snagajob's new headquarters in Innsbrook:
4851 Lake Brook Drive, Glen Allen, VA (new location for those who haven't been in a while)

As always, please let me know if you're planning to attend so I know how much food to buy.

I'm still interested in having that RESTful API discussion. Not sure if Sixto can make it, but he mentioned he is involved in building a self-describing api at a client.

I'll be in Philladelphia this Thursday so I can't make the meeting. Of course, as the cosmic forces would have it, I'll be giving a presentation on REST & hypermedia to the Philly SharePoint & .NET User Group. I'm sure Marcus will do a great job!

Just a reminder, if you're planning to attend this Thursday's meeting, please let me know! Here are the details:

When: Thursday May 31st at 6pm.
Where: 4851 Lake Brook Drive, Glen Allen, VA (new location for those who haven't been in a while)
Topic: RESTful API's and whatever else comes up!

As much as I’d like to be there, I’m still fighting bronchitis and a sinus infection, so will stay quarantined.  Would be nice if we could work out a way to live stream/record the meeting somehow in the future.
