There was a meeting for the committee and we are arranging a meeting for the whole new Muslim group soon insha Allah at ICOI.

What is the committee and what is the whole group?

Assalamu alaikum all. 

I believe br. ahmed is referring to a meeting to include all the new muslims (i.e. leads, mentors and mentees)

When we refer to the "committee" only... this means the leads/mentors only (not the new Muslims/mentees)

Since only 3 people were able to make it to the meeting, would you mind sharing what happened or what was discussed at the meeting?

Sure sister! We are mainly looking to hold a monthly meeting for everyone - mentors and new Muslims in ICOI at least once a month for now - we will share the exact time once it is arranged with ICOI's administration  We would like also to make the community more aware of this committee and invite everyone who knows of a New Muslim needing assistance in learning Islam or of someone who is serious about learning Islam to refer them to us. 

Please spread the word and wait for the next meeting announcement insha Allah!! Also let us hear from you any suggestions or recommendations
