Remote Phone Issues

Kind of odd behavior observed which I don't attribute to 3cx but thought I would mention in case you have seen this.

Voice service to this customer is via PSTN w/ patton gateways. This customer has 2 remote users.  One uses a remote phone and the sip proxy and the other uses 3CX Phone.  At times the remote users can connect fine and other times they cannot connect.  I have 3CX Phone in my office connected to their pbx and I see the same thing.

Records picked out of the 3CX Phone Log from different times show 

Tunnel received from PBX status 200
Tunnel send from phone to PBX: REGISTER
Tunnel received from PBX status 407
Tunnel send from phone to PBX: REGISTER
Tunnel received from PBX status 200

But other times show

Tunnel connection attempt failed
Tunnel is attempting to connect remote tunnel 123456 [24.123.6.70:5090]
Tunnel connection attempt failed
Tunnel is attempting to connect remote tunnel 123456 [24.123.6.70:5090]
Tunnel connection attempt failed
Tunnel is attempting to connect remote tunnel 123456 [24.123.6.70:5090]
Tunnel connection attempt failed
Tunnel is attempting to connect remote tunnel 123456 [24.123.6.70:5090]
Tunnel connection attempt failed

I just turned on the TimeStamp and will watch and see if I can find a pattern that I can track back to some other activity on the network.

Hello Allen,

My guess is that you have an issue with your Internet account. I have a site with a remote using the Bridge function. Odd times during the day and night, we get disconnects. Most of the disconnects occur after business hours. We have talked to the ISP but got no help there. 

The other option is to replace the firewall / router at the main office.
