Hello my dear information maintainers!

You may have seen the cancellation come through for our monthly meetings. And I'm sure you've noticed that things have been quiet on the list. Jordan and I have agreed with Maintainers HQ to take a step back from our co-facilitator roles, and to cancel our meetings for the foreseeable future. We think the time is right for the community to take a breather, and perhaps shift into another format. I encourage you all to subscribe to the main Maintainers email list, if you have not already done so.

Personally, things are just fine with me, though I have some new personal and professional commitments, some planned and others surprises, and these are where I have been spending my energy. Shoot me a message if you'd care to discuss the maintenance of 1920's houses or epileptic doggos.

It has been an incredible privilege to spend time with you all. Our community meetings were always so invigorating and empowering. I am continually amazed by how many perfectly lovely people are out there, working their butts off to maintain our information. So many! Information maintenance work can be isolating, but this community lifted the veil for me. The depth of care and feeling that you all have demonstrated on and off the list is what I will remember most from my time as co-facilitator.

Thank you for the gift of your time and head-space. I hope to keep seeing you all in future. Please take some time to maintain yourselves in the next few weeks, and also basically for the rest of all time.
